Client: D F Naylor Limited
Location: Derbyshire
Product: Class 7 ATL Bay
V-Tech are pleased to announce that we have helped global multi-million-pound business, Serco after they invited us to tender for their latest workshop project. The business operates 11 workshops in and around the UK. They recently decided to combine two of their existing workshops into one to have one main site which caters for all types of commercial automotive services.
The two existing sites in Thetford and Dereham were equipped with a variety of commercial workshop equipment, which needed to be transported from both sites to the new main workshop in Watton, Norfolk. They also required additional workshop equipment which they didn’t have throughout the other two sites.
As leading garage equipment suppliers, we were able to supply Serco with premium quality workshop equipment for their new build. This included our BM20200 Commercial Mobile Brake Tester, Headlamp Aligner & Exhaust Extraction. We also arranged for a sub-contractor to assist with the transportation of the workshop equipment at their other sites and the full installation of their latest investments. This full installation also included full electrical services to the workshop and even provided top-quality resin pouring services to deliver a high finish epoxy floor.
We completed the whole project within 4 weeks from initial enquiry. During this time, we visited the site to understand the needs of the business, created a CAD drawing for the new workshop layout, appointed a sub-contractor to assist in the transportation of goods and the install of equipment, and project managed the entire project from start to finish.
Daniel Taylor-Webb, UK National Workshop Manager says “V-Tech have provided us with many services over past years. Overall, I am very happy with the service that V-Tech provides, no complaints and I hope that there will be many more to come!”
